Just Jackie's Thinking

Hi, my name is Jackie and I am truly humbled that anyone would be interested in my journey.  I started writing years ago using a hashtag #justjackiesthinking and was surprised that many of my family and friends were so invested and encouraged me to blog and ultimately write a book.

Just a little about me...  I have been doing life with a wonderful man for 27 years, Mick - and together we have raised Daniel, 23 and Grace, 17 - my best friends, my everything.  

I have been serving the Lord for about 25 years and although it hasn't been easy, I wouldn't have it any other way.  I am a worship leader and guitar player - gratefully Church songs are only 4 chords.  I have served the Lord in various ministries but for the last 4 years my husband and I have led a marriage ministry.  This ministry has proven to be a perfect fit for this season of our lives and I have been so blessed by the families we have become a part of.  Finally, my Church is Recovery House of Worship in Staten Island, NY and I believe that our little Church has impacted the world for Jesus.
